Overall, my recommendation for Markdown implements is VS Code plus extensions using MathJax. Math Renderer: KaTeX (starting from v5).Typora: a Markdown editors that render the Markdown directly in WYSIWYG fashion. If you don’t want to use VS Code, you may try Typora. Many good markdown editors don’t support math well. Note: VS Code can also be used as an alternative to Rstudio for R. It supports Markdown Extra, also known as GitHub. It’s a fully-functional WYSIWYG editor that lives in your browser. If you want a capable Markdown editor that interfaces cleanly with Google Drive, StackEdit is an awesome choice. KaTeX is configurable by in extension setting. Here are three editors and one script that will improve your Google Drive/Markdown relationship. LaTeX macros can be defined for KaTeX using this feature.
